Dr Rachael Liebmann


Rachael is a specialist breast and skin pathologist and Deputy Medical Director at the Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Rachael is also a Secondary Care representative on an Essex Clinical Commissioning Group. She is a member of the Advisory Board of the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management, a council member of the Medical Women’s Federation and a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Educators.

She helped to establish RCPath Consulting, which provides independent authoritative advice on pathology service provision, reconfiguration and commissioning issues.

Rachael led the production of the first Key Performance Indicators in pathology in 2011 and, together with Vice-President Prof Tim Helliwell, revised and re-issued these in 2013. In 2015 Rachael was shortlisted for the HSJ Clinical Leader of the Year award and was identified by The Pathologist magazine Powerlist as one of the 100 most influential pathologists globally.
