Maxine Bullen

Maxine was one of the early advocates for involving the people who use services in the planning and development of health care and uses her experiences to facilitate others keen to engage with patients, carers and the public in their work.  She has written National Policy and Practice Guidance for the NHS on involving patients and the public and has published two reference manuals on the topic.  Maxine spent 25 years in NHS management before moving to an independent role in 2000.  She is a facilitator, qualified coach and high risk conflict mediator.
