Mohit Sharma MBBS, MS (General Surgery), MRCS, MPH, FFPH

Mohit studied Medicine and subsequently trained as a surgeon at Grant Medical College, Mumbai, India. He then worked as a Urologist in the UK before moving to Public Health. He completed his Public health training at Oxford and is currently a Public Health consultant with Public Health England South East Centre, providing a population perspective to the NHS.

Mohit is a member of a NICE Technology Appraisal committee assessing the evidence for clinical effectiveness and cost effectiveness for new technologies to be used in the NHS. He is an expert member of a Research Ethics committee in Oxford and also teach medical students in Oxford where he is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in Public Health.

Mohit believes strongly that all organisations, including health professionals, patients, academia and others, need to work together to achieve the best outcomes for patients and our population
